Spring is in the Air
Wrapping up the winter crochet and embracing the colours of Spring, plus an exclusive gift for Subscribers
Hello,
Although it may still be chilly outside, here in the UK, the sight of crocuses beginning to show off their colours feels like a sure sign that warmer days are on their way.
The previous owners of the new house clearly loved their spring bulbs! Snowdrops, daffodils and crocuses have been popping up all over the garden and it feels like such an incredible gift.
While I have thoroughly enjoyed working on big cozy winter projects - my February crafting time was dedicated to finishing off a very snuggly blanket from Esme Cricks Mosaic Crochet Workshop (for my new craft room), and, the Southern Pines Sweater by Dora Does - I am ready for all of the spring colours!
I am feeling inspired to create little joyful projects to celebrate Easter and the beauty of the season. So, I have been busy hooking up some more hanging Easter egg pockets, ready to post out as Easter gifts.
And, I have a new design in the works. The 2025 Easter Egg pockets play with some really fun colour work to use up all the scrap yarn/odds and ends from previous projects, and, they look fantastic when mixed in with the original egg set. The pattern is still under wraps as it is currently undergoing the meticulous scrutiny of my trusted tech editor, but I can't wait to share it with you soon.
As a token of my appreciation for your support as a subscriber, I would like to offer you an exclusive code for a free copy of the original Easter egg pattern. Simply head over to Ravelry and use the code DAFFODILS (valid until the end of March) to claim your complimentary copy.
These are great little projects to bring some spring joy to your crochet time, and, they are fantastic for gifting to share the joy of blue skies, daffodil yellows and warmer days ahead.
Wishing you a spring filled with creativity, joy, and moments of pure crochet bliss.
Happy hooking,
Kelly
P.S. If you are looking for an audio book to accompany your craft time I have just finished Guilty by Definition by Susie Dent and it is fantastic! If you love words, stories and a great mystery it is well worth checking out.
